The lessons and guided tours with Snow Monkey Ski & Snowboard School Špindlerův Mlýn do not include insurance. We strongly recommend that you, our clients, have adequate insurance for the sports they are taking part in, as we cannot be held responsible for any injury, losses or accidents which occur during your lesson.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation or rebooking is free of charge if you contact us 24 hours in advance.
In the case of cancellation due to lift closure, injury or sickness, adverse weather conditions, breakdowns of mechanical installations or other incidents beyond the control of Snow Monkey Ski & Snowboard School Špindlerův Mlýn, we will not be liable to provide a refund. Clients are advised to take out suitable insurance to cover them in the case of cancellation.

PUNCTUALITY
The lesson starts at the meeting point, as stated in your lesson confirmation.
In the case of late arrival of the client, the instructor will wait for 30 minutes. If the client has not called our office or the instructor to say they will be late within this time, the instructor will leave and the client will be liable for full payment of the lesson.

KIDS GROUPS & PRIVATE LESSONS
Children must wear helmets all the time. We recommend that adults wear helmets, too. Your safety is our top priority!
Please ensure that children are suitably dressed for the conditions. They must have suitable clothing, eye protection and sun cream.
Should they require a drink stop during the lesson, they should have money for it.
Any medical conditions and dietary requirements must be made known to the Snow Monkey office and instructor prior to the lesson starting.
Parents should be punctual in picking up children after lessons. If you are more than 15 minutes late to pick up your child, we will need to charge you for the instructor’s time (300 Kc, and 300 Kc per half hour thereafter).

PHOTOGRAPHY
During your lessons we may take photos of clients and children under the age of 18 skiing and snowboarding for use on our website or other promotional material. Our instructors also use photography and videos in order to give feedback and instruction. If you do not wish us to use imagery or footage of you, please say so at the time.

Rental Terms & Conditions

You can book sports equipment by visiting our rental, on telephone, or email.

LEASE CONDITIONS
In order to lease the sports equipment, you must be at least 18 year old, submit a valid identification document (identity card, driving license, or passport), and leave the address, telephone and email contact. The office manager can refuse to lease the goods without giving any specific reasons.
The goods are leased for a period agreed between the lessor and the lessee. The minimum lease period is 1 day.

LEASING FEE, CANCELLATION AND LATE RETURN POLICY
The leasing fee is to be paid when the goods are leased. The leasing fee consists of cash payment up to 100% the amount listed on the price list. We do not accept payments by credit card. The leasing fee is never returned, even if the leasing contract is consequently cancelled by the lessee or the lessee returns the goods before the end of the lending period. If the lessee returns the goods after the date agreed in the contract, he/she will pay the owed leasing fee and a penalty fee in the amount of 50% of the owed amount. If the lessee does not return the goods within 3 days after the notice, the claim will be executed legally.

LESSEE’S OBLIGATIONS
After leasing the goods, the lessee shall examine the state of the leased goods on the spot. The lessee shall use the leased goods properly, and in accordance with their purpose, protect them against loss or damage, and shall not sublease the goods to other people. The lessee is liable for the leased goods and their condition. If the goods are damaged, lost or destroyed, the lessee is obliged to inform the leasing office without unnecessary delay. The lessee’s obligation to compensate for the damage is regulated by the provisions on damage liability of the Czech Civil Code.
Routine repairs resulting from normal use are covered by the lessor.
The lessee shall acquaint himself/herself with the leasing rules and respect them.
